It bloomed yesterday. She got out this morning. It waited for her to come home.

Ya know it was a hot one this summer. I passed these when I was up visiting the ‘rental units in Granby. The whole field was ready to be picked.

Free wi-fi. So that when they come out and tell you the surgeon is running an hour late, you have something to do. This is bordering on insanity. I am going back and forth between the inner waiting room with mom, who has an orange stickon dot over the eye she is getting lazered, and dad who is out in the nice comfy chairs with the TV, and is not at all pleased with having to wait longer. Totally sucks. He’ll be getting hungry and cranky. And mom will just start getting cranky and feeling sorry for herself. Won’t get up out of chair to stretch either, but will complain when she has to get up about being all stiff and sore. I can’t win or even come out on an even note here. Oh well. I just hope I remember this when I get to this stage in life.
Damn…

My cousin MSG Brian P. McAnulty is honored way up in Kent, CT. We were just driving around for the day, and passed this. Seems that it is a moving memorial and is in Kent from today, until next month. We must have just missed the opening ceremony. My heart still aches for Fran and Bob. Brian was not only a good Marine, he was a great person. Semper Fi cousin.

This small flower is right by the tree where I park when I go for my ride in Pachaug. Seems so delicate. Good ride today. Except I thought I had solved the seatpost binder bolt problem. I think I will move to a standard bolt instead of a quik release one. Grrrr.

Only 3 more weeks until lauren is out of jail. She will come back here. It may be good for her and me to heal. Or it could be drama after drama and end up badly. We’ll see. I am getting tired of visiting her every week and listening to it all. And the phone calls. Just tired. I’d rather focus on Jed, since he was in an accident. Lauren’s jail was because she was selfish and stubborn.
And so…….
I am sure that someone can come up with a good chuck norris liner on this pic. Seriously. When did he give up acting and infomercials and move to Norwich.
