these two weeks in the summer, they still have that wonderfulness. the time from when school ended and the 4th. it was a time that you did NOT A THING. stayed up late, ran around in the yard. just nothing. I still love it. the days are the longest, and there is no imminent thing that has to be done. I sat outside for a bit, and now I am going to go make myself another drink and go back outside. just to sit. maybe bring the ipod out too. yeah, just a lazy hot night. gotta love it
Rock The Bike!
yes, part of the new vision is to be on the bike. again. I brought my old presta pump in from the garage the other day. I have to get a new rack. and some grocery bag panniers. and change the pedals out to clips and straps, no TIME cleats. But… it has been rolled out. I miss my bikes so much and I had it hit me in the eyes recently, that it was part of what has been wrong with me for so many years now. thru all the troubles and jerks. The bike was missing. It’s coming back and I don’t care how fat I look on it. I am riding again.
Yesterday (?) I posted that I wanted to hit 100 followers, mainly so that I could possibly follow back and glean info from their tweets. Glean and assimilate. I have one snotty person tweet that I was offering an “award” for the 100th, and that it is better for quality not quantity. jerkass, I guess he did not read what I offering for a REWARD. I said the 100th would get a $25 gift certificate to Kiva.org, and they would match it with their own $25 donation.
So, my 100th follower was Mark Grimes. Founder of Ned.com I was truly impressed. He matched it of course. When I have another $25, I will go and also loan to one of the ones he supported.

He has kicked something in me. Now I have plans for some more giving things. So keep your ear on Twitter for them.
Actually it’s core has been being kicked the past few weeks. I don’t know what it is. Might be the economy. might be the things going on with parents. so many things have “come” to me in the way of words (wish it was money but hey!) over the past few weeks, it feels like an avalanche. Sunday I was listening to a few podcasts from accidentalcreative.com and some things just resonated. then yesterday was the “release” of a manifesto: a brief guide to world domination I read it in bed last night. It along with inspiration from a few other bloggers and social media bloggers, have opened a door in my brain. I have three blog posts almost done, for the BS blog. I am wondering if I should also restart my kidoimages design blog and post there web desing stuff, for end users, not like how BS is for web designers.
So, the road that I am taking in the next few months, it may have a few forks in it that I can’t see right now. But I am pretty damned sure that the changes have started.

How To: Install Third-Party Applications on the Eee PC
Since the liklihood of me getting a EEE PC is higher than getting a Macbook or MBPro, I should keep this handy. Did not know I could not install any extra apps on to the EEE. Now I do.

So been busy being depressed about no money and too many bills. stupid clients not paying, and a general lack of new clients. so… learning things and trying to get done what little I have on tap here. Doing alot of social media, and trying to learn at least CMSMS. Or joomla. just did an install of MAMP on the mac. worked. so I have the joomla book and I can play at making a template here and see.
