the puter has been flaking out over the past month. controller going weird, boot sequence reversing and sometimes no boot. figured motherboard was going. The the locking up. then yesterday a lockup in the middle of working and uploading chef dan. rebooted on it’s own, and then the error ddr3 256mb vbios…. that had tobe the video card, looked on it, sure nuff. so I pulled it all apart. could not get that damned card out… found out why. that watercooled system leaked. on the board, corroded the pci-express slot, and the damned thins was just about welded. so….. take hard drives out, put into other machine, get thru the initial stuff, finish up chef dan. but I cannot stand working on one monitor. too confining.so, I just ordered a new dual video card for this one, cheapest option. then in a month or so, I’ll get a new mo-bo and video card for the other one. Maybe sooner if I get some money coming in. right now it is super tight, still.
