I spoke to a low “PTB” today about the job and if they had found a permanant person. Nope, but interviewing. She questioned why, was I reconsidering, and then I asked, “how much does perm pay? She told me it was the same. So I told her that the answer she gave me had made my decision for me, that I was not interested in continuing as permanent. She asked what was my number. I told her it was $18. She pretty much said it was probably not something that would happen. But she’ll fly it by the director. If I get it, I’ll stay until March. If not, I am outta here as soon as they find a replacement, or mid-December whichever comes first.
